WHO’S COUTRY IS WHAT TO WHOM?
I do consider myself to be moderate, a “radical moderate” if you press me but rather leaning towards common sense wherever it may lay. To me, it is not about “ideology” but about “ideas” and the “merit” of those ideas… no-matter-where-they-come-from. If you’re just making noise and not saying anything of merit you’re simply whining. Further more if that noise is ugly and full of hate than you’re not part of the discussion, you’re an annoyance at best and well deserving –at least- of ridicule.
The art of political cartooning -and the humor in it- is supposed to be about exaggerating something to make a point through humor. You’re supposed to have an imagination to do that. But the funny -and sad- thing is that in many of these cases, reality supercedes fiction. It’s as if some people are just out of their collective minds right off the bat (the angry gene) and that all we cartoonist have to do is just take the picture and ad a caption stating the obvious.
